The Bee Hive Vest

Inspired by The Royal Bee Yarn Company’s gorgeous woolen spun yarn, the Bee Hive Vest starts from the top down with a saddle shoulder. Subtle shaping at the shoulders and armhole give this vest a flattering fit and the color work motif of a beehive with bees adds a touch of whimsy to this layering piece.

Finished Chest Circumference (recommended ease 2-4 inches, or less for a more fitted silhouette): 36, (38, 40, 42, 44, 46, 48, 50, 52, 54, 56, 58, 60, 62, 64, 66) inches.

Needles: US size 7/4.5mm and size 5/3.75mm needles. 34 inch circulars.

Notions: Tapestry needle, stitch markers, scrap yarn.

Gauge: 16 stitches by 28 rows is 4 inches in stockinette on US size 7/4.5mm needles. (after blocking)
